Abbey Road was the venue used to record the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performing the score for Antonio Gomes contemporary dance. More information
The sessions took place in Studio 1, one of the worlds' largest purpose built symphonic sound stages. The recordings were mastered on 64 track digital and subsequently mixed at Julian's recording studio.
The full length work, recorded over 3 days, featured the RPO, operatic soloists, ethnic percussion, sound effects and a full scale classical choir.
The recordings were engineered by Dick Lewzey and conducted by collaborator and orchestrator Jill Jarman.
